Default noob question, about my exhaust valves. removal/bypass/mods (etc etc)

I have read about people removing the valves in the exhaust to enhance the growl, to "full time"... I love the sound., Now I have read that you can pull the fuse.. but will this do it? also will it then throw a code? or warning light? also, or... if i just remove the valve itself, is it difficult?
and one more question, the 2009 ZR-1 i bought has 2400 miles on it.. Is there a normal "run-in" on it,... do they suggest not running it hard for a certain amount of time?
Thanks everybody!

If I understand you correctly, you can pull the fuse and the valves will be open full time or you can get a Mild to Wild Controller, (there are several types) and turn it on and off.

As for break it time, its all subjective. These cars are pretty bullet proof

Congrats on your new Beast and welcome to the club

Removing the fuse causes no issues. No codes etc. makes the car sound like it should. Takes 30 seconds to pop it back in if you don't want it out. If you get the mild 2 wild controller, you have the ability to open and close them with a wireless remote.

Break in .... Idk I broke mine in for 750 miles. I beat on it every time I drive it since then.

I have the mild to wild and love it! Totally worth it to me. Also since we are on the subject of the exhaust valves, does any one know how to remove them? The stock cats blew out and are stuck on the flaps and the shop that replaced the cats could not get them out.

I got a set up from SUNSET ORANGE thats plug and play. Very similar. Its got the integrated wireless signal sender that uses the built in garage door opener in the newer vettes sun visor. Fantastic.

Does the opening of the exhaust (@ lower rpm's) have any influence
on the engine management ?
I was told that it would run richer (or leaner) and that would cause
the "Engine Control Light" to be turned on

Default finally going one

picking up a jetrseam blue with 9k miles. Can't wait. Paid 70k could of gotten a black one for 4 grand cheaper, but tired of black.
Jetstream just rocks if you ask me, shows all that carbon off as well

Oh ya ! I thought you were gonna wait awhile ? Guess you decided to pull the trigger, can't blame you. Must have been the jet stream blue sucking you in, hahaha. Congrats, can't wait to see it. Btw the 2010 I got is perfect, hell of a buy.
