Default Tire tread depth question

Hi guys

I recently got a brand new set of nitto invos (19/20) for my daily driven C6Z. Since I got them about 2 months ago I have put about 2300-2400 miles on them. I recently got a tire tread gauge and it tells me that I have 8.5/32 tread left on the front tires and 8/32 left on the rear tires. Is this considered ideal wear for 2400 miles?

I was expecting around 23k-26k miles of tire life going off of owner testimonials on the forum. Based off the tread wear measurements would it still be an accurate estimate for the invos?

Thanks in advance.

I guess you could just figure the difference between the thread depth on new ones and what you have now and then do the corresponding math calculations. I would have done it for you but I don't know what they start out at. But you know there is a reason why Michelin's cost more than Nitto's.

Make sure your alignment is ok too as that will knock the crap out of tire wear especially if your toe is off.

Original tread depth was 10. So at 8 you're wearing pretty fast, certainly won't get 23+K miles out of them. They're 20 % worn now at 2400 mi. Check tire pressures & alignment, although if alignment is off you'd see uneven tire wear, cupping, or scalloping.

As already noted, you get what you pay for....
