I wanted to add my personal touch to this car, and since a vast majority of them have red brakes, a color change was in order.
New calipers, rotors, and pads. Calipers were powdercoated.
Needed this baby to get a couple of my wheels off
A couple good hits and this one came off

Old brake pad vs. new brake pad
There was a good amount of pad life in the fronts but wanted everything new new new

Sore leg time
Need wider

Looks awesome. The purple was a good color to go with black. I am a guy and I'd rock the purple. Now just need to figure out what would go good with Lemans Blue. I don't like the red and my wheels are already black.

A new one is on the way.
So I take it you just happened to have 4 extra calipers to use as spares while the other ones were being powder coated, so your Z wasn't laid up on jack stands?

If she used Mike the Powder Coater, IDK if he sends out cores anymore. I know Ive had my car sit for its fair share of time while waiting on calipers and new rotors.

WOW... big fan of the purple esp on a black c6, Good job! Unique is the way to be, seems as everyone does the same ole same ole! Now i want to paint mine, where did you send them out to get them painted?
