[Z06] Got bored with the red

Got bored with the red
I wanted to add my personal touch to this car, and since a vast majority of them have red brakes, a color change was in order.
New calipers, rotors, and pads. Calipers were powdercoated.
Needed this baby to get a couple of my wheels off
A couple good hits and this one came off
The before
Old brake pad vs. new brake pad
There was a good amount of pad life in the fronts but wanted everything new new new
It levitates
Unintentional Lakers Colors
Sore leg time
Need wider
The final

Nice job. I like the color with black.
Only thing I'd say you need to never do again is get under the car when it's supported by a jack in the rear like that. Jack stands on all four corners. Always. I've lost friends when those jacks failed.

I did it with a friend, definitely a good learning experience, and some things I just wasn't physically strong enough to do haha except I was the one wielding Thor's hammer

Looks great.
A power bleeder is great on these cars. Well worth the $80 or to borrow one.

install a proper box-end wrench onto the LEFT FRONT wheel hydraulic circuit bleeder valve.
Install a transparent hose over the end of the bleeder valve, then repeat steps 7-11.

Heh I liked the leg work out :P But will probably invest in a bleeder kit for the future. Unfortunately she is rocking 3 purple and one original red, since one of the purple ones was damaged A new one is on the way.
