Quick question: anyone using 89 grams or heavier exhaust valves? Any problems?

Got it.

And by coincidence, that makes you the 427 entry onto this listing.

[QUOTE='06 Quicksilver Z06;1587467441]The thread is a listing of members of Corvette Forum with the experience of having exchanged the stock hollow stemmed LS7 exhaust valve, for non stock, stronger stemmed, yet heavier than stock exhaust valves, as part of management of the discussed and documented LS7 valve and valve train issues.

This listing is part of an ongoing project at reviewing the archives of this forum, using it's search features, to catalogue cars and their owners with this experience.

The current count is 451 C6 Z06 owning CorvetteForum members who have previously switched to, currently have builds or builds in progress which will be running, or who have experience in their LS7s with running, "heavier" than stock exhaust valves, "non approved" setups. Be they accomplishing that with Inconel or Ferrea Super Alloy, Ferrea's new partly drilled exhaust valve, or Solid stemmed stainless steel, in stock or aftermarket castings.

*******This thread as it is set up, is intended to be informative. The listing is broken down alphabetically, numerically, and geographically.

The listing is a "Global" listing, in that it includes cars from parts of the world outside of the United States. The CorvetteForum, is the largest Corvette Centric forum of it's type.

The thread is simply a Registry, intended to be a reference for those who wish to get an idea of the number of members utilizing this method, and not a discussion. As such, it seeks no responses aside from requests for inclusion from forum members who may have been omitted from the listing as a result of the limitations of the search feature of the forum. This is the first rule of the listing, and I ask all to observe it.

Any responses outside of the above, will be reported to the moderators for deletion from the thread.

Thank you, fellow forum members, for your cooperation.
