Not off to a good start this week
I got my first moving violation ever this morning. He got me going 91 as I was merging onto the freeway. I knew my Z06 was going to get me a ticket one day, and that day has arrived.

Well my driving did, but I tend to drive more aggressively in the Z than I do in other cars.

Exactly! This is why I don't daily drive my Z...I'm trying to preserve my license!

Freeway on ramps are fun, until you get a ticket. Traffic school in your future?

91 mph in a z06 is as safe as 50 mph in most cars. Tell that to the judge.

I hope so since this is a first offense, but I am not sure since the speed was so excessive.

I actually used that excuse when I got pulled over one time, and it worked. Let me go with a warning and a chuckle.

You know what's missing from this post? It's the guy who says
"don't speed and you won't get tickets"
wait for it

Sadly enough, its true. I was driving my wifes Kia the other day and I wasn't paying attention and I was doing 90 and it felt like 40.............
Big difference between an experienced driver, capable car and paying attention versus a teenager in a Neon, texting and playing grab a$$ with the other passengers.............

Sorry about your ticket. Those on ramps are fun though. I've been very fortunate. 4 years and no tickets in the Z

I'm usually on the brakes hard after approaching the end of an on ramp. Every one is a little strip of fun.
