I wish all head vendors were this forthcoming and transparent. I had a set worked by a prominent shop out west and they did not live up to the hype in quality or performance. I sold them before ever installing them.
Kudos to you guys for building this type of relationship with your customers and potential customer base.

We pride ourselves on our candor and workmanship.
Sold a few sets since we posted this add. Thanks guys for the great feedback.

Yes Sir we Mill for higher compression.
VertC6, yes Sir we also angle mill and thank you the compliment on the port work (lots of pride goes into it).
Very common to mill .030" (probably the most requested amount). Milling is basically free power (well almost free we charge an additional $60 to mill anything over .020"). Milling bumps up the compressions, highly recommended.

Thank you. There is no beak in period. Heat cycle the engine once or twice, then go beat on it.

I don't know if milling is really free if you live in an area where you can only get 91 octane gas. My stock compression Z06 really needs 93 octane to get the max performance from it, so upping the CR wouldn't be free for me if I had to buy special gas(at a higher cost) to get the octane up to prevent the computer from pulling timing.

I know plenty of guys in CA running 91 with 11.8:1 and 9.3:1 DCR with no issues, it's all in the tune. Check out Richie Rich, he makes more power with the torquer cam then anyone I have seen with 91 octane.

Thank you Sir!
We would like to let everyone know that we are now offering our proprietary Moldstar90 valve guides (beryllium free copper alloy). The Moldstar90 guide is the ultimate racing valve guide. Harder than bronze, slicker than bronze and pulls more heat from the valve than bronze. In fact Moldstar90 could be run without oil without causing damage to the valve or the guide. Its a revolutionary material, a high end trade secret for the past 7 years (nascar, indy, F1 all use Moldstar90).
PM us for details

Just to add to this, I just dropped my Z off to Kohle today at his shop and he has been very easy to deal with and fair as well.
I'm sure my car is in good hands and will perform when finished up. I'll update when he's finished.

Wow, so the moldstar90 guides get harder as they get used! Do you think they will continue to get harder overtime? It still is very similar in hardness to your PM guides do you think it's worth the extra money for a mild street cam car?
Thank you so much for putting the time in and doing this testing we all appreciate it!!
