Thanks, I was pretty happy with the number (especially on a mustang dyno), but even more happy with the flat torque curve and mellow drivability.

Those are great numbers.

We have a head cam combo that uses our ported package 4 heads. It puts down 560RWHP on a mustang dyno. My point being that we also dyno'd this package on a dynojet, put down 594rwhp.

So im betting 590-598RWHP on the Dynojet.

Great numbers and thanks for posting the graph.
Great torque curve. How are the street manners?

good results on Dons dyno! what were the outside temps? how much hp do you think the B&B exhaust is worth?

Nice number's!!! I have a similar combo, and also had Don perform the install/tune. He does great work, and very honest. Excellent attention to detail, and why I also chose his shop

the street manners are excellent. pulls without surging at any rpm. great low/midrange torque. has a few tiny hiccups here and there, mostly when light/no throttle and very low rpm, but of course thats to be expected on a cammed car.

thanks. i was pleasantly surprised as i was hoping 540-550. it was about 85 that day. no idea how much the B&B exhaust is adding. i'm actually replacing the PRT with a fusion extreme as i want it to be a bit quieter on the highway.

thanks. did you use one of his custom comp cams as well? he talked me out of using a larger cam and i'm very happy he did. he's definitely one of the better LSX tuners in the area. i trust him and i know several other people who have had their cars tuned by him with great result. the only bad part of my experience with him was going to the shop and having all the supercharged camaros/vette's around... made me have an itch to add forced induction

No, I have the Ragin Racin Punisher. But he did mention that it was a more aggressive cam than he would recommend, and that it wouldn't drive too well below 1500-2000rpm. What he said is true, but being that it is not my dd, I was fine with it.

how do you like the punisher? I almost went with that or the lethal. The punisher must have a wicked idle. I'd be curious to see your dyno for comparison. he talked me out of it because he thought this cam would make 50-70 more ft lbs of torque from 3 to 4k and not give up much up top.

congrats on your new monster .

I have similar results with my h/c/I setup. I did mine earler in the year I think around april. Mods are

QM600 cam
wcch stage 2 heads milled 40 thousands
ss exhaust valves
trend push rods
che rockers
vararam intake
fast 102 intake
NW 102 TB

car made 565/501

very happy with it. my tuner did an awesome job with the tune. very streetable with that cam. no problems luging it around town at all.

thanks for the link. that's a solid setup. any track results? I'm curious what you trapped in the 1/4 since I should be in the same ballpark.

that's awesome. what type of dyno was that on? the QM would make my cam sound stock at idle. I only have 6.5 degrees of overlap. you bring it to the track yet?

If you don't drag race much then I'd set a goal of high tens @140mph with a drag radial.

With some drag race preparation and an experienced 1/4 mile driver the potential is there for a 9 second pass on a drag radial in good air.

Have fun with it.

I'm hoping mid 10s at 135+. though the local track (NED) does usually have decent air so maybe 140 is possible. I would think I'd need a bit more power to hit 140.

I don't drag race very much and most of my experience is from turbocharged imports. I use to bring my big turbo wrx and my bolt on mazdaspeed3 up there years ago. I never got a chance to take my LS powered RX7. I have made a few passes in my friends mustang.

right now I'm waiting on my drag radials. I have a set of C5Z fronts sitting at the house but the toyo proxes tq 275/40/17 I ordered are on back order. I may go with my street setup (spyders with Michelin PSS) but I would expect that to be pretty futile.

I've been debating picking up hoosiers in 275/40 or 315/35 but I like idea of being able to use the toyo on the street if I choose to.

I have only had it to the track once, at Island Dragway in NJ. It was a low 60's for temps, DA worked out to 1277 asl.

I have Michelin PSS on it, and heated them up, but to no avail. I had absolutely horrible traction. IF I walked it out of the hole, and slow shifted 2nd, as soon as I rolled back into the throttle, it would break them loose around 52-5400 rpms. It wasn't until around 500ft mark that I hooked up!

End result: 11.97 at 130mph, repeated 3-4x. 60' times varied from 1.86-2.31.

With some traction, that trapspeed should improve a fair amount. I look forward to seeing your times soon
