Not much. Lol I'd like to be able to catch traction a little better. Car has about 650 rwhp. I'd like to drag it a Couple times next year but don't want to put a cage or harness in it, so mostly just Street driving and occasional road trips.

Nitto nto5r they drive well on the street and will bite somewhat at the track. It's differently a compromise . I want Hoosier 17 inch DR they bite better but don't have as good of street manners and wear out quicker.

Yeah I'm really on the fence if I want to do a Street radial such as the M/T or NT05R or stick with a more everyday tire such as the Michelin PSS or something similar. I think thats what my Z has now and its all over the place. lol I know the drag radials will suck on the highway and they have nothing for wear life. The strip is really not that much concern because here at 11.49 I need a driveshaft safety loop, and a roll cage.

I drive my Z06 on long road trips and I really like the Bridgestone RE050A Run flats. 80 MPH in a pretty heavy rain....no problem. Better traction, quieter, no tramlining vs the OE Goodyear's. 25,000 miles on them and 6/32" thread left(4/32" to the wear bars). And they only cost around $1800(way cheaper than the Michelins).

They were strictly developed for the Z06 by Bridgestone in the stock 275/325 sizes. They were not designed as a drag tire, but as an all around street tire with excellent manners.

I don't think you will find a tire that will hold 650 HP and still drive like a street tire, in the rain etc. and last 35,000-40,000 miles.

You gotta make a decision and stick with one, you cant have both extreme of stickiness and long lasting. Best medium is Michelin PSS. Great sticky summer tires and you can get over 20K out of them (Michelin guarantees them to 30K but doubt that would happen with a Z06). NT05s are cheap and sticky but you'd be lucky to get 10K out of them and they're not that great if on the wet due to the shallow thread depth. Cheap, long lasting but not that sticky tires (so great for long trips/DD), Hankook V12 Evos has stock Z06 sizing and should outlast the Michelin PSS mileage wise.

I'm putting down about 30 less hp than you and I'm running the 345 NT05R's. They're my only hope for running a 19" wheel and not driving it while looking out the side windows the whole time. No, they won't last long, but they work great and I don't know why anyone would say they don't have good street manners or suffer on the highway. No, they're not ideal for twisties, but I ran a set of PSS's and the car would wiggle during roll racing from 60. Not anymore and I've run it up to the 17xmph range many times with no issues.

I realize this doesn't offer any answers to the original question, but I still wish they made the General UHP tires for the Z06. I've got about 47k on mine and still have another season (10-12k) left in them, been extremely happy with them. So I guess I will have to do some research when it's time to replace them.

I have the V12s on my daily driver, and while okay for a cheap tire, their grip is nothing to brag about.

They can't even match the Pilot A/S 3 in grip, much less a PSS.

Maybe for a stock Z, but definitely not a 650 rwhp!
