Default WTF is wrong with my clock?

I have an '08 Z06 3LT with a clock that WILL NOT stay on the correct time. I'm in the Eastern time zone, but the clock keeps rolling back the hour (to Central) every time I turn the car off and restart it. My home in the nav system is set to my address, but am not sure if that even affects the clock time.

Any thoughts?

which head unit?

The Nav unit has a setting if I remember correctly (if you have 3LZ-you should have nav head unit). You can change the auto correct feature.....DST.

I have the nav head unit, and have tried the DST setting. The time changes correctly and stays correct, until I turn the car off. Then the DST turns off and the clock is, again, an hour behind

Is it possible that your key FOB is programmed for the Central zone so it resets every time you start up?

My 2nd FOB is programmed for Eastern time. I live in MST now and I always know when I use the 2nd FOB. I just haven't reprogrammed the 2nd FOB as I seldom use it.

Hadn't considered the key FOB as the culprit. Will investigate - thanks much!
