Brake setup for 15/16s?
I am interested in getting drag/drop spindles, I have a few questions:
-for the z06 brake guys, does the c5 rear brake allow proper clearence in the rear for the 15s?
-With c5 brakes, do you notice the car not stopping as well?
-can I get away with running c6z rear brakes if I go 16s?

I had the C5 caliper ground down smooth on the top to guarantee it would clear... I haven't really noticed a difference in stopping but I only drive my car on the street and 1/4 mile... The a-arms are the biggest pain cause you don't know if you've ground enough off until you've launched the car hard and see if it hits... Mine hit the first time so I had to remove the rear wheels and ground them down some more...

You need to grind the calipers and A-arms.
No difference in stopping, fronts brakes lock up just as easy as before. The rear brakes basically are not doing much anyways.
No way c6z brakes fit 16" wheels.
Brakes is 98% front pads and tires. The big rotors/etc just allow you to do it over and over again without fade. I do notice it stops slower with the 225s compared to the 285s but that is because less tire, easier to lock up.
