GM usually charges about $199, usually updates every year. There are probably cheaper locations.

The current one (GM - North America Map Update - v.2013 SKU# 22944166) came out in late 2012 so they're overdue for an update. The last time I emailed the navigation.com folks they said:
It's probably time to poke them again but I'm not optimistic.
