$40 is a lot of money when someone with unlimited car fax could do it for free but if no one is willing then of course I'll just pay. And yes I understand how it works

Not trying to bust your ***** but you are willing to pay X $$$ for a used Z but find the $40.00 to be to expensive? The person who has the "unlimited acct" payed way more then the one time fee plus has to take the time to do it for you.

The only reason I ask is because I've seen people saying they'd do it before on here and I'm 18 years old buying a 31k vette and it doesn't hurt to save a little money but I'll probably end up just paying the $40 anyway. Was worth a try though.

A lot of people will help somebody who asks. Yes, $40 is cheap but not to everybody. Especially, when it doesn't give you any real information.
