After 3 1/2 year hiatus, I'm back with my dream car!
Hey guys,
Some of you may remember me as the rep for Fikse Wheels - I worked with many of you in my time with the company. I have also owned two C5 Z06s and, while I loved them, I always wanted a C6Z... Well, my time has finally arrived, and I'm back!
Just picked her up last night - 2007 VR 2LZ with only 14k miles, Vararam Intake, Chrome Spyders and, to protect myself from the dreaded dropped valve issue, I bought a 3yr/36k bumper-to-bumper warranty. Went over the car with a fine toothed comb prior to buying and couldn't find a ding, scratch, nary a rock chip! It's been taken care of with great attention to detail and I plan to continue that theme. I'm SO damn happy!!
Without further adieu, here's my new toy

Ditto!!!!!If i may ask, How much was the service plan? do you see yourself keeping your new Toy longer than three years? My reason for asking is for the price of the service plan you could have the head issue addressed. Beautiful Red Z and Ditto for the Chrome Wheels!!! Congrats and long live the Z06

Thanks all for the warm welcome back and compliments on the car!
The plan (bumper-to-bumper) cost me $2,300 out the door. I know I could've fixed the head issue for about $4k installed, as I wouldn't be doing the work myself, and could have gained some power; however, I wanted the entire covered - Electrical, transmission, etc. etc. - So I could have fun with it and not worry about something breaking. As for the amount of time I'll keep it, the longest I've ever owned a single car has been just shy of 2 years and this is the 38th vehicle I've owned in my 33 years of life... So, if I have this for the full 3, it'll be one hell of an accomplishment in itself!
