100K+ Club
While sitting at a light this past weekend, I glanced down and saw 123456 on the odometer. So...who else is in the 100K+ club?
I bought my 2007 in Jan. of 2007...sole owner. Guides were shot at 88,000. I rebuilt the heads with Yella Terra roller rockers and silicon bronze guides. I polished and re-used the stock valves.
The check engine light is due to the CATs. Maybe using the European 0-40 Mobile 1 has caught up with me.

102K with mine. I've had it new since 12/06. How many with over 100K are the original owners?
BTW... The best damn car I've ever owned, bar none!!!
EDIT: At 88k miles all guides were within spec, as measured by WCCH in 2012. At that time the heads were replaced with PRC265s.

This is very interesting.......high mileage engines.
Even more interesting would be to also state whether the heads have been checked or re-machined. That way we can get a better handle on how widespread this valve guide thing is - because at these miles it really says something about longevity of the LS7 if they are original.

Installed silicon bronze guides and Yella Terra roller rockers when I rebuilt the heads.

Not quite there yet but real close at 99,200+ miles and am the original owner (06 bought in March of 06). Engine is still completely stock but in a few weeks I am going to have the heads sent to WCCH for their 'fix'.

Thanks for your input John.

Be aware that Richard believes the stock valves are what cause the issues some have had with LS7 heads and yet guys like the OP have the ultimate proof that there isn't a damn thing wrong with the stock valves.
Cheers, Paul.

30k
I only had like 30K before my LS7 issue.... I don't think there's any rime or reason. Unless maybe you can trace it down to the particular engineer who assemble the motor. The name plate will tell you....
In my case it was Kerry Rasmussen

So is there something broken? What is WCCH gunna fix?

It will be very interesting to see how your guides measure at that mileage. Please report back with your measurements.

I had wiggle test performed by my mechanic (head tech for a local tuner here in ATL) when I purchased the car at 106k and they were fine.
