Tires: Got rears, Need fronts
I ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport R/F's from Tire Rack for my 2013 Z06.
They had the rears and I got them in today.
The fronts are on back order til 12/15.
I called around and couldn't find any at the local tire shops.
Does anyone know where I might find a set of fronts?

M Pilot Sport is a 2001 vintage tire that came on Vipers, not C6 Vettes. Do you mean Pilot Sport PS2 ZP (BO 'til 12/12) or Pilot Sport Cup ZP? How many miles do you have on your 2013 that the fronts need to be replaced?
The above tire is a Low Load tire P275/35-18. They also have an SL (standard Load) tire in 275/35-18 that shows fewer than 9 available, but they should suit your needs.

Pilot Sport PS2 ZP

Run Flats
I really need to change the tires now.
I have the rears and need the fronts.
If anyone knows where 2 tires are hiding please let a brother know.
Thanks

Note that the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 that Discount Tire Direct has is a different tire than what was stock in 2013 for a Z06/ZR1. The Tire Rack dude had some he tried to sell me. The load rating is 95Y while the OEM spec is 87Y and I'll bet the 95Y version weights more.
Here's the Michelin page, the OEM front is part 43657 (P275/35ZR18/LL 87Y).
I figure this is pretty much my own fault for trying to buy summer tires for a sports car at the beginning of winter. Still, my backup car is fun to drive (2000 SS Camaro...) Still, I miss my daily driver.

I noticed cords showing on my fronts a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find anything (well, that wasn't $100/tire higher than the normal web sources). Tirerack (which doesn't price match) had an ETA of December 12th and Summit racing (which does price match) had an ETA of November 17th so I ordered from them. Last time I checked that had slipped to the 23rd so maybe they just blew smoke up my *** and I won't get my tires until mid December.

Higher load rating.
Everything else looks the same.

The date has slipped from December 12th to the 19th on the Tire Rack website.

I'd choose the standard load (SL) tire as it had more load carrying capability and is 1# lighter than the low load (LL) tire. For normal use it may not make any difference. For high speeds above 150 mph the SL tire will require less added air. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but our Z06's have high tire pressure alarm at 42 PSI, easily reached hot if you need to raise the tire cold pressure. This means it takes over the DIC. While you can call up other settings, when this happens you are usually driving in a way that your attention should not be on pushing buttons to get the info on the DIC that you really want.

I see that now on both the Michelin and Summit Racing sites. I can't understand why these guys make up sh*t.
I'm not sure I agree with your extra speed arguments but what about rears? It doesn't look like 325/30-19 comes in anything other than the LL version.
Meanwhile I'm not doing anything fancy and prefer to stick with the specs the factory boys came up with.

I originally switched my Goodyear Super Cars for Michelin PS2's the day after I bought the car. I used the non-runflat PS2 345-30-19 rear tire and 275-35-18 front. The Goodyear runflats were so bad on my previous Corvettes, I didn't want anything to do with Goodyear or runflat tires.
I ran the 345/30-19 PS2 tires for about 30k miles and just replaced them (they till had 3/32's tread remaining) with the new Pilot Super Sport in a 345/30-19 size. They fit perfect and fill out the wheel well much better than the 325 size tire. (The Michelin 325 is smaller that the OEM Goodyear 325.)
The new Pilot Super Sport is a great tire with a slightly better price than the old PS2 and has slightly better performance.
