Glad I could help and glad to know that you have reviewed the PDF that was posted in here.

My guess is that someone who had the original, or access to it, altered it either for the purpose of misleading certain forum members or it may have been possibly even more malicious than that, seeing as how they went to the effort they went to.

If it was a "joke" well then they took it too far.

At any rate, the admins should have the IP address of the person who did it.

Glad you had a chance to review the info I sent you and hope you get a copy of what you're looking for.

All drama aside, which I see you have been pulled into by the usual suspects surrounding this, I believe this is a private matter and should be taken offline and handled by the moderators.

As far as you getting the original test, only the people who have donated to the test received a copy and Forgotmypen owns that data since he was the one who made the transaction with Katech. His wishes are for it to not be distributed to those who did not donate and for it to also not be posted on this forum.

Good luck

To your part in bold, it may turn out that in that statement, you helped narrow down just which forum member(s) was/were responsible.

I would have been glad to donate to the test. I still will. I told someone I would give cams for the test as long as the test were fair. The bogus test I saw were not as fair as they should have been. I may get into that later is I get the real test results.

Possibly. Unless someone on that list distributed it to someone else on this forum without authorization and they in turn altered and posted up the information.

Like I said, this is a private matter for the moderators as they have the tools to link IP addresses to different account holders.

There was some talk by forgotmypen about setting up a charity account for after-the-fact members to donate to so they can receive the test results. I personally think that's fair and as a receiving member would have no problem with that.

Which charity can it be a charity that I support or the official charity of the forum?

I have received the unaltered version of the Spintron test it is quite a bite different that the altered version. I sure would like to who changed the results? I wonder who it could be? Another cam company? Someone that sells another cam company's cams? If you have a chance to view the changed report you will be able to tell the guy that did it has an IQ of about 3 that should narrow down the search.

Yes it is. Again, this would be something that the moderators could help you with. Have you been in touch with them regarding this?

Well if you got it for free that means someone's already giving it up. That being said, I see no reason to pursue the charity thing and create more drama.

An agreement would be needed from those who donated and ultimately Forgotmypen. It should be run by the auction administrator of this forum.

Rules will be needed as well for those who purchase it as to what they can do with it. It wouldn't make sense for someone to be allowed to post the info on this forum since it would negate future donations.

I am a little surprised that as a CF vendor who's cam was tested against the Katech cam that your input in the testing was not requested. Did they even use the cam that you would have chosen for this application? I am equally surprised that the unmolested data was not provided to you.

I wasn't aware there was an altered list out there. The lists that we (original donors) received from spintrontestdonations@gmail.com on 10/27 is the correct/unaltered, original list, correct???

Kohl

I have a simple question for you. Based on the new Spintron testing, is American Heritage changing their current recommendations for head work in any way ?
