9.874 @ 138.70
Good time at the rental. Glad to see everyone. Jason Miller has one of the finest tracks I have had the pleasure to run at.
Made two passes. Second pass yielded a 9.874 @ 138.70 on a 1.38.
Andrew- Thanks for helping out that day.
Matt- Thanks for allowing me to use the shop to get ready for the WCFs and the rental. Greatly appreciate the assistance.
Rob- Thanks for helping getting the car together.
Weather was very good. Pass was decent but not perfect. I'm not going to complain.

Gary you continue to refine your skills and set the bar higher and higher (lower I suppose).
Way to go, amazing pass.
Any changes to the equipment since your last PB?

Thanks.
Tires used on the pass: 28x11.50x16 Hoosier QTPs
Performance Mods (if any):
Bolt-Ons Only
RPS LSX BC2 Clutch
Halltech MF103 and Beehive
Vette-Air
Elite Engineering Oil Catch Can
American Racing Headers
Ported TB & FAST LSXR 102 Manifold
EWP
4.10 gears by RPM Transmissions
Assembled by robz , myself, Matt (Tune Time), Mark (Tire Craft)
Tuned by Troy & Matt
Thanks Joe. The biggest change was stepping up to that Hoosier tire. It took some time to get use to but it met our expectations.

Gary I noticed the tire spins then hooks. A drag radial cannot do that so I use the clutch to slip then grab to launch.
Are you slipping your clutch too or are you essentially dropping it and allowing the tires to be the slip agent?

What is your launch rpm and how far down does it dip during the launch process?
Sorry for the 20 questions....I miss scanning and logging and analyzing. :-)

Gary, you are a driving ****!!!! and with simple bolt on's no less.... Incredible! Conversely, i'm a non driving ****.. Tried my hand at Drag Racing for the first time a few weeks ago and barely broke into the 11's @ 123mph....
Give me a half mile track.... that is where I shine.... Great runs my friend...

Nice going Gary and Co.!! Excellent driving!
I noticed you crept a tad. Do you think that cost you any ET?

Thanks Everybody.
No, best 60' was a 1.35. Slip as in timeslip? I like the timeslip if that's the question. I need to review the log. Have not had time yet; however, I was shooting for a launch at 5200.
Thanks Ronnie. Air gap a little too tight. I believe the resulting 60' and ET were affect by +/- 0.02.
