Default 345-35-18 Fitment

Hello folks, I believe I have finally decided to go with a complete 18" Weld RT-S setup for my GS. I want to run the 345 MT ET Street II or M&H Racemaster out back. I would like to hear some input from those who run this particular tire. Do you experience any fitment issues (rubbing on lowered cars)? Will they hook 700rw+? What front tires should I run? As always, pics would be appreciated! Thanks!

I run them. Define hook? I can roast them through third. Hell I couldn't get any traction in 3rd today, but my car makes 1000+. That being said, even at 700 they won't hook 1st. I don't lower cars, so no issues with that. Run whatever fronts you want to go with a 28" rear, so look for a ~27" front.

Looks mean Unreal! You are making quite a bit more power then me but I don't like the fact that you burn through third lol. How much psi do you run in them? Do they measure 28" tall? According to MT they should be 27.5" which is perfect.

Didn't measure. I try to run them ~24psi, lower the better for hooking, but as you go lower it starts to handle like a truck or driving on ice. Anything lower than 24 sets a TPMS light, and I don't want to deal with the light, so 24 it is.

I too am running the MT ET "streets" 345/35/18... My power is nowhere near unreal's or yours for that matter.. I'm @ 560/530 BUT, these hook really nicely at a 1/2 mi track, 1/4 mi track, or simple spirited driving. Love the tires!

When these die, it will be either whatever new MT is out at the time since they are coming out with all new tire, or R888s all around. They don't hook as good, but handle awesome and at street tire pressures, it is close. The drag radials do well at <20psi, but I don't drive around like that. I find at 24-26psi the 15 et streets, 18 et streets or r888s all hook similar, but when you air them down, then there is a big difference.

Apparently M&H offers their Racemaster in the same size as the MT. I hear they are stickier?

The MT or M&H? What wheels? Very interested to see the results since my car is slammed as well.

My car is lowered all the way on stock bolts. They fit without issue. Even on hard acceleration and it squats, no rubbing either. Absolutely love the look, its very sinister!

my 345/35/18s mts hooked all of 830whp in second gear above 60* with heat in them on the street. about 20lbs in them. will have boost by gear shooting for over 1k so they hold.

With any of these radials, heat and pressure make a huge difference. Going from 26psi to 19psi is the difference between roasting 80mph and hooking 60.

That looks incredible! What is your exact setup front and rear?

Yes and no... C5z style wheel but made to be c6z offset and it's an 18x12 rim.
These are perfect for the slicks I run on the road course and for the drag radials when I do roll rave stuff. Best of both worlds.

Where did you find your C5Z 18x12 with C6Z fitment?
