[Z06] Time To Rebuild The Bottom End......

Time To Rebuild The Bottom End......
Took the car to CBI Streetcars for a simple tune and a fuel pump and Chad noticed very low oil psi.
I told him to check it out and pull the pan. Boy am I glad he did, it was pretty sickening how much metal was in there.
Long story short, its time to do a rebuild on the bottom end since the top was just done.
Current Setup:
Halltech MF103 cold air intake
C5R Timing Chain
Nick Williams 102 mm TB
Landspeed ported FAST 102
ID850 injectors
Fast Fuel rails
Landspeed ported and milled Brodix cylinder heads for 12.5:1 compression
New factory titanium intake valves
Ferrea one piece hollow stem exhaust valves
Morel 5206 link bar lifters
Texas speed magnum chromoly pushrods
Manley Nextek Dual Valve springs
Comp Trunion Upgrade
ARP head bolts and ARP crank bolt
Landspeed custom cam 24x 25x 6xx 6xx on 111LSA
LG 1 7/8 primary LT headers w/catless x pipe
B&B Fusion Exhaust
McCleod RXT twin disc clutch and flywheel
RPM Level 6 TR6060
C5 axles
Custom tune on E85
Estimate of 650whp
Advice on what I should do while in there? Mind you, I didnt anticipate this so I do not have endless funds.

1) New forged pistons
2) R&R Ti rods w/ARP rod bolts and one piece wrist pin bushings
3) inspect crank, cylinder bores and cam for damage. replace cam and turn crank as
required, light hone on cylinders to seat new rings.
4) Katech oil pump
5) C5R timing chain
Make sure you're not getting detonation wit 12.5 to 1 compression. That will beat the **** out of a set of rod bearings. That "could" explain the condition of your bottom end.

As far as I know the previous owner had put a c5r chain in it.
Its on e85 so that should be fine with the compression im running, especially with the bigger cam.
What about main studs?

You'll have to take a detailed look at the crank and have it checked for straightness. Some investigation is in order to find out what took out the bottom end.
