I like the artwork. I've been contemplating some air brushery but have been unsure where to put it. I was thinking centered on the hood

Beautiful car, but why the added side marker? Looks odd and ugly!

I fully agree with you about the side marker! Unfortunately it is required by law here in Europe ..

Got it! Will they allow you to tint the lights?

Nope, that isn't allowed either.
Nevertheless, there are a couple of US models around in the Netherlands, as opposed to export models like the one that I own. Some of the US models don't carry a side marker at all, others have even uglier markers than you see on my Z, a sort of cheap "stick-on" it seems.
The US models also have different taillights, fully red instead of red/amber (amber for the turn signals).
I switched to eagle eye LED taillights a few years back, but I kept my export lights for the (bi)yearly inspection.

And last but not least:
  • tinted windows aren't allowed either. I had them - only 15% extra - and got caught by the police and was fined for that. Ultimately I removed the window films.
  • same for small front license plates, NOT allowed here; so I switched back to those huge and super ugly European plates.
