Default 427 hood Stripe

The car shown below is a 2009 Z06. Were the black hood stripe and 427 emblems part of an optional package in 2009? There are also chrome-looking inserts in the front side vents and in the rear brake cooling duct inlets. I'm new to this car, but aware that there was a "427 Edition" in 2008. Wish I had the original sticker. Thanks in advance for any info.

Both the stripe and the 427 emblem did not come from the factory on the car; the decal is probably aftermarket (could be factory) and the emblems could be the factory emblems: both were standard on the "Will Cooksey" limited edition 2008.

Thanks. Whoever put the stripe on did a nice job.

08 VR with the dreaded valve issue dealt with by Lingenfelter. The stripe is painted, emblems from a '67.

If you want a copy of the original window sticker you can get one from the Corvette Museum. But before they'll sell you one you need to join up. They'll also sell you a copy of the build sheet.

I was on the Museum site a few days after I bought the cars, meaning about 8 weeks ago and there was a notice that "due to conditions beyond our control" they no longer could provide window stickers. I do have the build sheet and need to decode what it means somehow.
