That's from the 500-mile drive home I made just after buying my Z06. Almost 100% steady-state at 78 m.p.h.
90% of my driving now is urban interstate at 65-80 m.p.h., with occasional opportunities for spirited on-ramp acceleration, and some rush-hour stop & go. I average 24 m.p.g.
Kooks headers, corsa exhaust. Don't know of any other mods to the car.

98% Interstate driving--29.2 MPG for close to 900 miles at 70-75 MPH.
2300 mile road trip to southern Colorado and northern New Mexico with a mix of Interstate at 75-85 MPH and plenty of scenic driving on the secondary roads and even 45 minutes of "rock crawling" at 5-7 MPH in first gear-------27.6 MPG.
C7 Z51 M7 averaged 29.1 on the same road trip. Can't get a more accurate comparison than that.

On a trip from Oxnard, CA to Norfolk, VA back in the summer of 2012, this was my avg MPG at Flagstaff after filling up in Kingman, AZ. Avg sped is as you see on speedo.
Averaged 26 MPG for the whole 6k+ miles that include a trip on dirt roads to my Mom's farm and a jaunt to Chicago. Averaged about 71 MPH for the whole trip. Not bad for 7 Ltrs. Stock 2011 Z07/3LZ.

My 06 Z is bone stock except for exhaust. I get about 28 mpg highway and my DIC usually indicates an average of about 22 plus mpg combined.

Safety Car
They get 16 City, 24 HWY, about 20 combined for the first 20,000 - 30,000 miles. Then they either continue to to that, or get 0 MPG / infinite MPG after the valve drops and takes out the engine.

I have WCCH heads and tuned by Vengeance Racing.
I get 21-22 MPG back and forth to work (30 mile round trip mix of hwy and city) and I drive it like I stole it the whole time..LOL
27-29 MPG on Interstate trips (typically 1-2.5 hours each trip) running 72-74 MPH the entire trip
