I have searched and searched but cant find what fluids to use. I was hopping someone can help me out. I am going to do a clutch and trans fluid change this week and was wondering what fluid to use. Non gm fluid for trans. I know there is a difference between fluid in years. I just dont want to get the wrong fluid. Thanks in advance.

If you don't want to use GM fluid, what do you want to use?

Thanks for the reply. Those both are what i had in mind.I was thinking i would go with amsoil. Is it just that amsoil atf that's in the link or am I looking for a specific kind? I just want to make sure. The easiest overlooked thing can be a huge problem.

I went with the Amsoil Torque Drive in my '12 and now '13. These Tremecs are still a little notchy when cold but shift like butter once they warm up a bit.

The factory fluids P/N are listed in the DIY thread for changing tranny and dif fluids in the sticky at the top of this forum. Both DIY are good reads with good tips.
