There are no bonus points on a timeslip for appearance. The guy in the other lane using your opinion of ugly who also has no passenger seat and runs race gas is about to whip your butt.

It's called keep up or get out of the way, because progress is coming through.

Ciro if it makes more power I'm keeping it. I found this pic online so it's not mine but I have been in touch with Chris at ECS to let me know when he gets them in. I am really excited to see what this baby can do!

Me too. My fast fuel rails and intake seem to be working ok now. If the fast rails leak I'm going to get the msd intake and using my oem ls7 rails and calling it a day.

I agree for the most part, but that "atomic air force" logo looks a bit like...

The main benefit of the FAST intake was that the runners were a little larger and longer than the stock runners. This helped breathing and mid range torque. It will be interesting to see how the MSD dyno's. I also remember seeing from SEMA that since the MSD was announced, FAST is coming out with two new runner packages so you can tailor the power band to your liking. I always thought that they should have come out with a runner that was both larger AND shorter for the guys buying it for more peak power. Funny how competition improves the breed. Time for a really hot manifold war.

If it makes 20 more hp than the FAST, if be willing to bet it's because they are getting more peak going with a shorter intake runner. Similar to the new options that FAST will be offering with a short mid and current (long) runner size. To each his own but I like the look of the FAST better and now it comes in black so that sold me!!

When does this thing come out so we can start seeing dyno sheets on REAL cars. I need a real life comparison between FAST and MSD

Default Coming out soon

According to Summit website April 1, 2015 is the expected date. My guess mid-April before you see dyno sheets etc.

I looked at this intake @ SEMA 2014......I think MSD blew it by not incorporating a custom fuel rail.....where this intake pinches down to clear OEM style fuel rail is a restriction point. It will probably make more HP than stock but, if I had a FAST intake I wouldn't waste my time. This was also the intake on the Ridetech 48HR Vette build....motor back fired and popped a gasket out on this intake. WTF were they thinking about when they decided to pinch in top to clear a easily replaced fuel rail

Default MSD Intake

On the fuel rail pinch down I see what you mean, but if you look at the dyno graphs this thing comes alive at 5,500 so not sure what restriction there is (you would think that is where the restriction would show up). One thing they could have done like the FAST was put those little fuel injector spacers in so that the pinch would be a little less than what it is. Having the ability to just put on the factory rails is a nice feature.

It's a win-win the way I see it.
If it's as good as they say, I'm buying it and making more power than I would have over a FAST. My torquer cam makes enough on low end that even if I lose 10-20 I won't be sore about it, if it means Ill make an extra 20 over the FAST up top.

If it's a flop the competition is still there and some people will sell their FAST, and/or FAST will come up with a newer product, and/or drop the price a bit to compete.

So one way or another Ill be strapping on an intake this summer

I think your top-end power limitation with the torquer 110 is all about the cam design and very little about intake manifold design.

I have the torquer 110 and am fully modded with a fast 102, nw102, headers etc, etc. The big improvements with good flow is low to mid range power.
