Default Tial Q or Tial Qr - z06.

Looking for sound clips, or video of these two different BOV's on a z06.

I do like the BOV sound, and as such was leaning towards the Tial Q (the louder one)....but this sounds terrible :

Is that just awful video quality, or is that representative of the Tial Q?

Anyone have any better quality of either version? Has anyone had both?

Thanks,

jb

Depends on where it is put, how much boost, vacuum, etc. Plus a WOT 15+psi "blow off" sounds way different than a free rev low RPM. So that video doesn't tell much of anything.

Here is one of my car, but it has twin Tial Qs, -2 springs (which also make a difference) and runs 20+psi.

Basically hard to go off videos. The difference between a slight rev, or letting off from light throttle to a 20psi full shift is huge.

thanks.

So would you recommend the Tial Q....what spring? I have heard a lot of talk about the 3 (better driveability?) and 10 (better sound, but at expense of driveability?)....but what about landing in the middle at a 6#?

Stop worrying about sound. A BOV is a performance part. You don't marry a woman for a good karoke voice, so don't buy a BOV for sound.

You want the -3 springs for a SC application. I recommend whatever BOV works well. Tial Qs with -3 spring work well, if you are up over ~800hp, add a second one because one may not be enough.

I don't think I got any of those, maybe at the next event. Then again on this side of the forum people may freak out since it goes to 7200-7300rpm and has those crappy heavy not going to work valves in it.
