Who wants to bet he basically says exactly what they put here, that is rare, mostly on modded cars, and not an issue, just internet hype? Anything is going to go though GM lawyers so I would expect much, sadly.

I am glad I saw this thread! I thought I had already "voted" by posting in the thread on this subject.
I have now "voted" in the actual poll. Spread the word guys, lets make this so over the top it sends a message.

What do you want him to say? That he is so sorry, and ask all of us the bring our cars to the dealer for free fixes?
My car is 8 years old, I just don't see the upside in all this crying about the issue. If it bothers you that much quit wasting your time trying to get GM to act on an issue that is yesterday's news. Get on with fixing the heads or selling the car.

There are already 50 confirmed deaths and climbing by GMs grand failure with the Ignition Switch fiasco. While this does not compare they still have to be held responsible for their products.

For all the folks who are skeptical about getting a real answer (me included), the effort you spent in this thread and the other voicing your skepticism could have been a vote in the Tadge thread.
There is nothing to lose if this question gets fielded to him.
If we get a good answer then great.
If we get a BS answer, then us skeptics will be validated and can refer to the great Tadge BS answer forever more.

I voted.
Will be the difference between me considering a new gm purchase in the future, or not.

I want him to say, yes we know there is a problem, it's not limited to a certain year or run, and we will compensate those who have fixed the issue on their own. Send us a receipt showing head work, and we will send you a check for 3k. For those that haven't been fixed, bring your car to a dealer and we will install new heads that are not only machined correctly, but verified before installation. For gm to be proactive instead of reactive (forced) in this case, could actually prevent a fatality in the future.
