Default gm head gasket

What is the head gasket bore diameter? For a gm head gasket. 2nd ? Block deck height on a ls7. 3rd piston to deck.4th top ring down.
what does that all mean, is it cp ratio!, an how do i find out, what my cp is in my car. thanks

Default Factory compression ratio is 11 to 1

I can answer some of your question - GM gasket about 4.15 inches, deck height is 9.24 inches, gasket thickness is .051, and the other piston deck measurement is usually about .000-.005 in other words the piston is flat with the deck of block. Not sure on ring depth but usually that adds about 1-2 ccs.

Thanks, I just put in a new motor, from TSP with GM gasket, I was told my CP is 11:5 to 1, Found a web page that has a compression ratio calculator tool, just something to; for a new be like myself to learn more about my car.
