No Power Steering Cooler with ECS Kit??
I posted this in Forced Induction too...but thought I'd post here as well....
I just found out you lose your power steering cooler when installing an ECS S/C kit on a LS7.
What are my options? What is the majority of ECS LS7's doing?
What is the negative of not having a PS Cooler? This car will not be hot lapped or circle tracked/autox. It may be driven 3-4 hours at a time on road trips, and used for some roll racing.

I'm not familiar with the ECS system. Having said that, I would replace the radiator with a Ron davis Z06 radiator, use 2005 Z51 oil cooler lines, and use the oem Z06 oil cooler as a power steering cooler plumbed with AN fittings and hoses.

No power steering cooler is fine for a drag race only car. C5's & C6's have enough problems with leaking racks and pumps due to high fluid temps. I would not have some sort of cooler on one of these, especially since the OP stated that his reservoir is overflowing.

How much fluid did you put in the reservoir?
I am confused as to why mine is burping a bit of fluid. looks like it is getting hot!

That's strange. We are making an option right now for a cooler though. I actually have it sitting on my desk as I type this. We just need to make brackets for it.
I'll PM you when it's completed, but I have never seen a system "burp" if it's not a road racer. Actually even then they didn't burp, it just ate up racks over time too quickly.

maybe burping wasnt the best word to use.
After I turned my car off yesterday (drove for about 30 minutes)....you could see a bit of fluid residue on the reservoir, and hood. Also, the cap/lid was sputtering a bit from the vent in the cap/lid (hot fluid steaming inside as it looked)
I am in Florida, and it has been hot.
Any recommendations?

You might want to talk to Doug about his cooler.
