Default Did some work to my Z06 this weekend

Installed was ....
- DSS 1000hp drive shaft and Poly couplers
- ECS trans/diff brace
- Kooks long tubes and o/r x-pipe

The car feels more solid than it ever has, the power increase is extremely noticeable.

It had a bad vibration in the shifter only and clunked real bad on a hard shift, I thought the couplers were going out, boy was I wrong. A shop, that will remain unnamed doesnt know how to tighten bolts. literally, if i were to put a percentage on it, Id say 90% of the bolts they touched were not even finger tight. No joke. The torque tube to bell housing bolts were very loose.

the stock drive shaft, looks pretty good huh :/

Nothing wrong with the stock couplers

monster dual disc

Kooks headers installed

I always like the extra assurance, so my view on it is spend about $400 now and possibly save $2k-$3 later.

The thicker plate is on my list too.

I wish it was my shop, a real good friend of mine owns it. he is in the 1st pic.

How you like the monster??

It would be on my list of clutches if I ever felt like getting away from a manic??

So far its done me good, it has a stiff pedal for some reason with a stock master and slave. Come out to one of the car shows and ill let you feel the pedal.

Damn. Was thinking it wouldn't be bad with a stock style pressure plate.

I have a monster single in my c5z. I like the clutch, but prefer the dual mantic in my silver car. Lighter pedal and smoother engagement.

Been curious about their duals.

Yeah thanks I'll check it out one day hopefully..
