I've wanted to get a vette for a long time now, and have decided to take the plunge soon. I've done my research and want a 2011, and if possible a carbon edition. could anyone tell me the difference between a base Z, a Z07 pack, and Carbon edition? thanks for any help!

Did you change out the CCBs for regular cast iron brakes?

Yes. I'm running Performance Friction race brake set up. Should have changed out my stock brakes sooner but Chevy dealer said the system will tell you when you need to change pads. That only applies to street driving I guess. Lol!

GM says that not even they have data for option/color combos - just model production and colors as described above.

You are correct, no Z07 breakdown. It is there, if you are on an IOS device it is hidden to the right. Go directly to the site and you will see the colors broken down by Z06/ZR1, that is as granular as it gets.
