If you don't count those blips at the end of the dyno run, its more like about 610rwhp. Still great numbers though. You can see the power was already starting to fall off at about 6500, before the quick spike.

I had similar feedback when I posted my dyno results. One or two people would offer harsh criticism, then cap off their comment with faint praise.

I'm happy to see another Z06 crank out 600+ RWHP

I just got my 2011 c6z back from HHP (Houston House of Power) today to correct any potential valve issues. My build is as follows:

HHP Stage 3 LS7 heads (280 cc. .03, 390+ CFM)
Bronze valve guided, micro polished intakes
Ferrea super alloy exhaust valves
HHP Stage 3 Cam (that's the secret sauce)
Fast 102 intake
Stock TB

On 93 pump gas dynoed at 609 rwhp.

Ha, harsh criticism? Sorry I didn't put on my kid gloves. I meant no disrespect, but anyone who knows what they're looking at knows a "spike" when they see it. I'm no less "critical" of my own dyno numbers.

Nice to see the MSD getting some dyno time. Great numbers it must be an animal!

Im still not convinced that a FAST or MSD intake is worth it... I spent $370 to have my stock manifold ported from PSS...

Made great power with it on 91 pump... 600/550

Fast/msd is 100% worth it over a stock manifold on a good setup. It's worth at the very least 20/20

Im speaking from a ROI stand point. My PSS "Radical" ported LS7 manifold is right up there with the FAST and MSD, sure its gonna fall a bit short on peak hp, but I feel it allows more torque.

So for me to switch to either one of those intake manifolds would be a solid $700 investment for what? 5whp? Im good

Plus I have the added benefit of popping the hood and all looks like it did when GM tossed it together

"Cam only"

So ur on stock manifold like me, so you think msd is not worth it correct. I dont know where they claim 20 26 over fast... Because if I correct yes the fast intake does give the ls7 about 15 20 peak numbers...but I want overall band with not peak numbers.. But yes correct 900 dollars is a lot for 10hp

Great curve shapes for such a budget mod...2 questions if you don't mind:
- Is the engine still running OEM injectors?
- What is the DIC during the dyno run?

We run 60# injectors on anything with a Non stock Manifold.

Nice,

Where was the Duty Injector Cycle during this dyno run?

I'm still scratching my head. Seems like modest upgrades. No NW102 or crazy large cam and no E85 and its making over 600 to the tires. I don't get it. Usually H/C/I make in the 580 range...

Its a setup that we have been developing for years. We started out making 580ish. Now they make over 600 easily.

Looks like the MSD took out the big dip around 3k... or is that just how the graph is?

Nothing to scratch your head about. It's just dyno numbers. Something tells me the car won't perform like it has 630hp
