Our cars are twins! We even ran pretty much the same time with similar setups. Funny.

Customer ran his car again on sat. ****** 60 foots but with the new Vararam air intake its up a consistent 3mph over the K&N
He had a 1.48 60 on one of the passes but missed 3rd. Still managed to go 10.1@139. We will have more results with in a week

Yes the intake does not dyno well at all I "lost" power but Fran had to add 4% more fuel up top and the trap speed shows why.....

Yeah it lost 4hp on the dyno but in worse air i had to add about 4% fuel so i knew it was gonna go faster at the track

No, same old one! I had bought one last summer, and was really disappointed in the quality and fitment. Sold it before ever running the car.
I wound up going with the tried and true Halltech w/Beehive, and vette-air scoop. No issues with that combo at all

A nicely built N/A LS7 can be a handful from a roll.

So the dyno with open filter k+n only lost 4whp to the Vararam?
I wish a vendor would take an auto ls3 C6 and test Halltech vs Vararam on same day / track so we knew how much they compare. I have used both with nod going to halltech for superior quality that no one could argue BUT results like this are eye opening when looking for n/a 140+ mph. May have to change mine now too. Great info -
