Kohle + American Heritage Performance
Yesterday I was racing a crotch rocket, got focused and forgot to shift. I'm guess I was in the high 90's or low 100's in 2nd gear (it was a blur), the power completely cut off... I thought I blew the engine. I looked down and the engine was at or just over 8000rpm and winding down. Dropped it into 4th, power kicked back on and FIRST THING I thought of was... "I'm so glad I went to Kohle!!" 8000+rpm shift no problem for AH Heads!!
Today a SC Camaro SS with 650 RWHP (I found out afterwards) (mine is stock btw) tried to pass me and FAILED miserably
AH+Kohle.... a gift that keeps on giving!!

What are your mods if your shifting that high I'm thinking you have a 454 a heads and cam ls7 7000 is optimum there is no use going any higher because u then run into valve bounce.....unless you specifically have valvetrain and springs for peak rpm power.

No tune, unless it was tuned before I got it. You know on the HUD how up after 7000 rpm there are smaller dashes, well the RPM's were completely covering the entire portion on the HUD when I looked down, and that was a split second after I hit the limit, the computer shut me off (as it was winding down). I know there is no use.... I simply forgot to shift! Attached are the head parts installed. Thanks again Kohle for saving my A$$!

Odds are, no matter what heads you had in there, nothing would have broke anyways since the "computer shut you down"...which I have never heard of either.

Do me a favor slick... get out there, put the car into second and smash it until you get WELL above 7000 RPM's with your heads and tell me what your car does. Then your opinion might matter...

Nope. Other than Kohle reworking my heads I have no affiliation with AH or Kohle nor do I receive a kick back.
