Anyone running Non-titanium ls7 intake valves?
This is a long shot here. I was wondering if anyone has switched out their oem stock titanium intake valves for a set of Manley stainless valves or any other non-oem brand? If you did, why?
I bought a set of LS7 z06 heads and the guy before me swapped out the titanium intake valves from stainless Manley. I'm weary, but think I will still be okay To run them.

I know several people who are running SS intake valves. No issues. Mostly because they came with the aftermarket heads (Mast 305s). They make anywhere from 1000-1450rwhp, rev to 7k and have no issues. The valve must be paired with the correct spring and cam, but can be used just fine depending on application.

Stainless valves don't need lash caps.
I run stainless valves with a bigger spring than you could fit on a stock head paired with shaft mount rockers.
This is what I felt would be the most durable setup on an big lift cammed ls7..
