Default No issues yet

Early 09 Z06 bought used in 2012 with 16,000 miles. Had a Hurricane intake and a Lingenfelter hood. think it's been lowered an inch or so. Had two kinds of tires and a foot of raw fiberglass under passenger rocker panel...so think it was auto-crossed. My wife got it for my 50th B-Day . Drive it as often as I can, now have 35,600 miles on it, joined the local Vette club and have autocrossed it a dozen times. No issues yet thankfully.

My 06 with 39k is solid. I had to replace a sway bar link that was clunking, blown tie rod boot, needs rear brakes, shifter that was rattling, not much to even mention. All common wear stuff. Engine was replaced in 08. Heads were repaired at 37k, intakes were out at .009"

My buddies 06 with 77k is also solid. His front traverse spring bolts/bushings had worn through the bushing, replaced them.

These cars are solid!!

2006 with 51k miles. Just got the heads fixed. Shop said it was the worst they have ever seen. I drove the car for 30K miles before getting the heads fixed. Guess I was lucky.

Other problems were:
Both driver and passenger window regulators replaced
Ac and condenser replaced
fuel tank sending unit replaced
right passenger side hub replaced

Now just Saturday (Day after getting my car back from getting heads fixed) I noticed my psi during idle was at 12 psi. Never been that low. Lowest I have ever seen it go is 17psi on a hot day like Saturday. Hopefully I am still good.

56,000 on my 07. Heads are factory OEM.

Intake, Headers+catless x pipe, Tune, Corsa, DRM Bilsteins, Michelin Pilot Supersports, MSD Spark Plug Wires.

Issues:
*Blew the cooling fan fuse
*Have a weird click noise in the front right when braking hard or turning
*Rattle in Drivers side door panel
*Baffle in Factory Muffler Broke (I think so at least-havent opened it up yet)
*One of the MSD spark plug wires randomly got disconnected-plugged it back in and it was fine.
*Have a "Service Charging System" that pops up because I have colder than factory spark plugs which tuner said were required for the tune
*I change the clutch fluid every 1000 miles or so using the Ranger Method
*Changed all 4 rotors+pads+new brake fluid+powder coated calipers upon purchase
*added Michelin Pilot Supersports 500 miles ago-factory Goodyears belong on a tractor
*added Bilstein DRM's as factory shocks ride horrible

I think this was at 103K miles, I did Daytona at 117K miles last year (search my name BeastZ06). Car is at 131K miles now. The drivetrain is pretty well worn and sloppy now, but I still let it wind out in 3rd to 120 mph occasionally on the way to work under controlled conditions

Rebuilt heads at 75K miles.

I had 156K on my 2006 Z06 (purchased used in August 2006) when I sold it and took delivery of my 2013 Z06 in September 2012. I now have 75K on it. Both were/are daily drivers, bone stock, never tracked and ZERO drivetrain issues.

Holy freaking cow!!!!!

That's the way to drive a Z06. You must have passed every sports car on the planet in that video.

I fully expected to see you come up on Lewis Hamilton in his F1 car.....and pass him also.

Awesome driving.

Looked more like a race than a track day.

Do you go through a whole set of tires and brakes in one day driving like that?

Default 82K and doing fine.

I bought my 2008 ZO6 new. It now has 82,000 miles on it as a daily driver. Heads haven't been touched. Never any problems.

Bought mine used 3 years ago with 15,000 miles on it, now I have 70,000 miles on it. It is my DD and most of the miles are on the freeway. I even drove it from San Diego to Austin TX and back 2 years ago. Engine is running strong, but I have a check engine light throwing a "cat 2 below efficiency threshold" code that I need to get checked out.

Bought my 09 new in August of 08. 22,000 miles. Many long (>1000 miles) road trips. I love the car, the mileage, and the performance. Well maintained and only problem was air bag light with seat movement. Fixed by local dealer. There was a GM bulletin on it. Valves checked at 21,000 and all well within spec. Major guard through 2018 so no reason to change!

Man I understand your concern but how many Z06 owners have done this fix when nothing was broken?

I came from a built Subaru..I'm used to things breaking constantly. I just want to mod the Z a bit too. My Subaru made 600hp and was a bit lighter I can't be driving a v8 that's slower lol!
