Default Ncm insurance??

Finally into a house now so have some option for insurance. Ncm was the cheapest but anyone had any bad experience with em when it came to claims etc? Also seems too cheap to be true so I thought I'd ask. 900 a year compared to 1700 a year with hagerty

both my quotes are about 1300 with ncm and hagerty. Just wondering who has the less hassle claims. Everyone will take your money but who Wong weasel out and look for reasons not to pay

I would be interested to know if the quote you received from the NCM quote tool gave you your savings? I am a lifetime member of the museum, but never thought of buying it through to them until I just purchased my 2016 Z06. Their price was so much higher than my current carrier, I almost did fill out the entire application. I did not waste my time in adding my wife and 24 y/o son to the quote request, because the NCM was pretty far over with what I pay with them on my current policy (and I actually have a little better coverage). Is this because I live in Ky? Something didn't add up. BTW.....my current carrier is nationwide.

Adam at NCM made purchasing my policy really easy. I have only been with them since Spring and I hope I never, ever need to make a claim. The agreed value policy makes me sleep much easier at night by knowing all the money I put into the car was is also insured.

The catch is not being allowed to drive the car as often. You can't take it to the movies and leave the car in the parking lot for example. What did make me chuckle a bit was when I told the NCM agent I had a blower, nitrous, and the car made 1000hp. His response was "that is awesome.... Send over some pictures". Can't say Progressive or State Farm shared their enthusiasm. Lol

You can't take it to the movies or mall? That's not "pleasure" driving?

What about a car show or car cruise at a mall or restaurant parking lot? Very interesting.

And I have no issues with Adam or Bobbi Jo. They are both great people. That coverage is not for me. And with 2 corvette continuously over the last 19 years, with a total of 33,000 miles, I don't need to feel or worried that restrictions might exist where I wouldn't be covered.

I don't think it has anything to do with fire theft and collision. I don't think they are approved to provide liability in MA.

Default Ncm insurance??

This was dug up from a few weeks ago. Hagerty wouldn't touch my car cause it has more than 700hp. Bobbi Jo from ncm hooked it up for $1100 with the ncm membership discount. Pretty easy process and great communication

I wish we could write coverage in MA. We are able to write coverage in most states, but MA isn't one of them due to state laws preventing us from offering full coverage.

Mall or Movies are a no with any collector vehicle insurance program. We aren't standard auto insurance. If you use your car for "errands or daily use type driving" your best bet is to stick with the big carriers.

What about a car show or car cruise at a mall or restaurant parking lot? - 100% A-OK!
