I had no clue they where that high. I will scratch those off my list for now, maybe when the prices come down on them in the future.

Dealer prices won't come down, but used ones will as people wreck or upgrade to race seats.

Bumping with a question
With the MGW shifter, would one be able to use the C7 shift **** in a C6? I am not seeing any reason why not if the right stick is chosen, but I am not 100% sure.
I think a suede D shaped wheel in a C6 with the suede shift **** out of the c7 would be the best of both worlds.

I hope my photos come through, first time I've tried attaching anything. I've found these seats to be a little more supportive than the 08s but not by a whole lot. I don't have a problem on the track if I use Bill's method of tightening the seatbelts real snug. They're very comfortable for traveling as well. My only complaint is that the leather is so soft and subtle that they scuff on the bolsters very easily where a wallet and jeans would rub. I have to be extra careful getting in and out.
I called Leather Seats and had them send me leather samples. Was told that they cannot stitch the Z06 letters on the seat covers and would have to send them to an embroidery shop. Did you have someone else do that? I asked for leather samples of all grades of leather too, but they only sent me the Ecstasy and perforated. I'm a bit irritated....

I received my seat covers with the Z06 logo stitched into the headrest. It was an extra fee but I don't recall exactly how much. As I recall, it was reasonable and it looks great. I was told that the ecstasy leather was the only option available for these seats because of all of the bends and folds involved. It's easier to work with. I also got the alcantera inserts unperforated. The leather looks and feels great, but I found that you really have to be careful of the side bolsters getting in and out of the car. The leather is so soft and smooth that it's very easy to scuff it up. I've had to touch it up with dye a couple of times.
