Quarter Master Optimum-SR 10.4" Clutch Kits
Optimum-SR 10.4" Clutch Kits are true racing components that feature factory driving characteristics -- allowing them to function as stock replacements.
Each 10.4" one- or two-disc clutch and flywheel kit incorporate engineering know-how derived from the rich Quarter Master® racing heritage. However, they can also easily be used for street driving. The two-disc kits are designed for up to 1400 horsepower and 1000 ft./lbs. of torque. The single-disc options can hold up to 700 horsepower and 500 ft./lbs. of torque.
Quarter Master®, the industry leader in driveline technology, has continued its winning ways with Optimum-SR™ 10.4" Two-Disc LS Clutches. They have achieved standout results with a Camaro in the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series, including a first and second-place sweep at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Now, with lessons learned from racing, and with the data from extensive drivability testing, Optimum-SR™ LS Clutches are available for street use.
Features a spring designed to require only a 10 percent increase in pedal effort over stock, with stock-type modulation control. The clutches are capable of handling 1400 horsepower and 1000 ft.-lbs. of torque. Features a sprung hub, marcel-type discs with organic rag-type friction for smooth engagement. A vented floater plate and grooved friction surfaces provide better cooling as well. Featuring aircraft-grade bolts and hardware with an all-billet construction, each clutch is completely rebuildable and can be used with OE hydraulic bearing systems or Quarter Master® Tri-Lite II Hydraulic Release Bearings.

Drifting
I was thinking of going to this clutch I already have a 8.5" extreme V and the tri lite slave. would it work with this clutch.. less money spent is good for me?

The tri-lite slave may work would need to check with QM engineering to make sure the slave mounting plate is the same height if not it maybe just the mounting plate that would be needed
