Adding a Hellcat to the stable
I went to the dealer today to close on the deal.
20K over sticker and he wouldn't budge. I just and walked out getting back into my Z06 and slow rolled past him as he stood there looking stupid.
Dodge better get a hold of these dealers. 20K over sticker is almost criminal and a quick way of finding yourself off the distribution list.

Got a ride in my first one last Tuesday, friend just picked it up.
Very lackluster in my opinion, and it felt very heavy when I was driving it.
Good for straight lines, but beyond that the car isn't worth a dime over MSRP...to me at least.

Fat Cat.. great idea like everyone says... warranty 700++ hp but a very fast overpriced Muscle car. Still prefer the Charger to the Challenger.. rolled with a HC challenger on a deserted highway for 5-7 seconds.. my car just has a canned diablo tune and a B&B 3" bullet catback and we were dead even. Not over speed limit though. ::

Neighbor still loves his. Had it 4 months now. Traded in his 2012 Grand sport CE on it. He paid MSRP. Said it is the best car he has owned.

To each his own. Hey If I won the lottery I would probably add a HC charger as my daily driver.

Would I trade my Z06 for it? Nope. Otherwise its an absolute monster. Not worth 20K over sticker though with a sticker of 70K already.

No car is worth over sticker. Some of these cars are already getting out of control at sticker price, let alone a mark up over sticker. Saw an M6 sedan at a local dealership this weekend and it stickered over $150K with no mark up. Nice car, but come on...

I considered getting them to write the deal and then taking the copy and going that route. They always have deniability unless its in writing.
I simple don't have time for that crap. I'm sure someone will roll over on them soon.

My neighbor has 2 small kids, and it is his only car. So compared to his vette he loves it. Says it is faster, rides nicer, better stereo, better climate control, more comfortable, can throw kids in back seat, more room. Just a better daily driver. His is the bright *** green color with black wheels. Looks great.
If I had to choose a z06 or a HC for a one and only car, I would go with the HC too just because big boats make good highway cruisers and commuter cars. Since I don't have to only have 1 car, I can get away with more specialized rides.

propain, what did you like better about the Hellcat (Charger or Challenger) vs. the GT500? I do like them both, even though I'm a Chevy guy. GT500+whipple is a beast. Tuning the Hellcats is still a pain. Have to make physical modifications to the PCM.
I remember when the Z06/ZR1 was new, and dealers wanted over sticker. One year later, and you could get them under MSRP. No way I'd pay over sticker, unless I just had money to burn.

I don't own the HC yet but I do own a GT500 KR. The KR doesn't hookup for ****. I cant imagine the HC will do much better but I have heard it does get out of the hole better. I haven't done a thing to the KR but I bet if I were to supercharge it the KR would be a monster. Honestly though if I was going to mod a stang it would be my Boss.
