Had the car for a little over a week. Took it out today for a nice run in the hills and got the temp fluids really warm. After the fun run, cruising back home the CEL came on. Pulled over and shut off/restarted the car but it's a steady light. After searching the forums a bit I was thinking maybe the CEL could be emissions related? car is a 09 with 41k miles and is stock. Did not notice anything abnormal during the drive or when teh CEL came on, oil level is a bit low right below the second hole on the stick. Is the OBDII port in the same location for all c6 models? I looked for it earlier but couldn't see. Will try to get code scanned tomorrow.
scanner shows p0420, c0899 and 0 dtc whatever that means. Car sat for a long tiem at the dealer, it was in the showroom when i was there. they had trouble starting the car because the battery was dead.
