Hinson Motorsports is proud to announce our HINSON C6 Short Throw Shifter. This shifter was designed for the Corvette enthusiast who is tired of the sloppy stock shifter. Built in the USA, this is the best way to shorten throws and narrow the gate distance between gears in your late model Corvette.

This is a quick video of how the shifter works and performs in the C5. We wanted to illustrate how short the throws are and how quick the shifter is. The shifter is identical with the exception of the handle design. The C6 handle will mimic the shape of the stock handle and will accept the C6 stock **** or one of several Logo ***** we will offer. All handle and **** combinations will maintain the stock boot to **** finished look.

Just installed mine when I got home from work today. Only had time to take it out for a quick test drive but the shifter seems to work flawlessly. Didn't get to try out 5 and 6th gear. The only compliant I have is that there is a rattle noise at high rmp's,other than that I love it so far.

Thanks for the feedback and the purchase. Leave the shifter in reverse when the car is parked to help with the break in process. The shifter is kind of stiff at first which may be causing the rattle at high RPM. Also check all your bolts and make sure they are tight. Especially check the handle bolts. If the handle and the shifter stub are not completely flush and tight it will rattle.
