Anyone have, or have pics of, a version on an Atomic Orange Z06?

Recently converted my bolt on to pin on in the back. Still stock hinges up front, but pins in rear. The factory latches were in the way of some stuff I was doing, so went to the aerocatch latches.

also take a look at the Seibon/Anderson composites CF hood. its only $1500 and has great reviews here on the CF.

Lol, it's only $1500 because it is a "carbon fiber look" hood, not an actual, real "carbon fiber" hood! The dead giveaway is the underhood pic that you posted, no carbon to be seen. So to be clear what you are actually getting with Seibon is a fiberglass hood with a single thin layer of carbon on the top for appearances. Not even close to being comparable to the products offered by LG adn MTI

I thought it was discontinued too?

I like my Anderson Composites hood. I have the TS version but its pretty good quality for the price. The LG hood is nicer and I may have gone that way if I wanted a WC style but I'm happy with my choice.

Did just a bit of research before my linked review. The true 100% dry carbon fiber cloth hoods were upwards of 3 to 5K when I did this Seibon review a couple years ago. In that review I was very clear this was not a full carbon hood, however was at least fabric and not sprayed chop, and priced accordingly.
I took a look at the LG offerings at the time believe 2 were offered. a wet layup full carbon pin on race hood at well over 3K and fiberglass with carbon overlays at just under 2K. The design has changed in the past few years, not sure about the construction? Note there are no photos of the underside of the current LG hood posted?
I do believe this hood is discontinued however many hoods made by Seibon come into the country and are rebranded?
And I repeat Lou always supplies first rate products.
Posted my original review in the Roadracing forum as I still believe unless you are tracking they are just for looks and I hate doing anything for just appearance sake and not functionality.

We also have a couple of light weight "pin on" hoods that we used on our WC Corvettes to save weight. They eliminate the inner frame work and have to be attached using aero latches or hood pins.
A must if you are building even an occasional track car or drag car.
We had to use a different version in WC until we got our hood approved
