Default MTI vs LG world challenge hood opinions

I am considering getting a carbon fiber hood. I am looking for the pros and cons of the MTI vs the LG full carbon hoods. I want to use the stock hinges, I do not want a pin on hood. Please let me now how you like the hoods if you own one. (fit, function, any issues)
Thanks,
peter

May also want to look at the gorgeous one from Black Dog Speed Shop.

Everything from LG seems to be a quality product.

If you want full carbon fiber be prepared for sticker shock.

This one from Seibon is a very nice option if 3K plus is a problem.

I have a MTI Carbon hood for sale. Paid $1800 for it, currently painted victory red, could be buffed out and used; however otherwise would need repainted. Hood fit very closely to OEM gaps, I had no issues getting the gaps correct as the fenders and hood have alot of adjustment in them. I am asking $1200.00 for it and includes shipping to any lower 48 states. PM me for pictures.
Thanks
Tim

I probably went through eight different hoods till I bought the full carbon fiber World Challenge hood. It fits like a glove. In my opinion it is the best hood out there and does reduce engine temperatures

Just a few examples of how they look on different color cars and different paint setups or bare carbon.

My fitment isn't perfect, but acceptable. I blame it on hitting the blower. No idea if it could fit better without touching the blower.

It looks better in person. I believe that's Jim Hall's Z.

No it isn't. Jim runs his own GT3 hood.

That car and hood are both in Dubai I believe so I know it is not Jim's car.

I have the LG hood and couldn't be happier. The quality and fitment are much better than most of the other hoods on the market. I got the pin on version to save some weight and it fits perfectly.

Anthony already posted a couple pics of my car above ^^^^

How about the Katech hoods? The LG is pretty hot looking, if that’s the style you like. Personally, I like the look of GM B92 hood, but if you need/want vents, they need to be added.

Plus the added downforce from venting underhood pressure out the top and added cooling to help draw air through the radiator so it does a number of things besides loosing weight.
