'09 Z with base model Audio / Upgrade options
Hey Guys
I just picked up an 09 that does not have the Bose system in it. My last car (07) had Bose and it was perfectly fine for my poorly tuned ears. I'm not sure if this base system is going to cut it for me. I already have plans to replace the HU with an Android based unit.
What option do I have as far as upgrading the speakers?
Does anyone make adapter brackets for the front door speakers?
Is it worth upgrading the rear speakers?
I really do not want to add an additional sub-woofer to the back.I have had them in the past and it is just not something that is worth it in a car that I plan to keep.

You might want to give Dennis (Double D Mods) a call. He is a CF vendor and will give you multiple options within your budget. I just got a box in the mail from him to do a modest audio upgrade (I have a 3LZ with Bose and nav, and think it sucks). I am also going to do some sound treatment as well, and use a corner sub that can be easily removed.
