Best spark plug for ecs z06
Hey guys,
Changing the heads on my 08z. Im wanting to replace my current sparkplugs. They are ngk tr6's. Is there any other plugs you guys recommend? Or stick with those. Also I need to know what they should be gapped to?
2008 z
Ecs 1500 at 7 psi
Alky control meth kit
Long tubes with race cats
Kenne bell bap.
Have a good turkey day!

For a modified engine that's also supercharged, the NGK 6 heat range is the absolute hottest I'd go on a spark plug. For an engine like that, my "rule" would be to run the coldest plug I can without having problems with fouling.
For street high-performance use, I prefer the Denso Iridium Power plugs. Admittedly, they are pricey, but they work very well, I've used them for years in both my LS6 and my LS7.
For my LS7, I'm currently running the IT-24. I used to run the IT-22, but after sending a set I ran to the engineers at Denso for them to inspect, they suggested I go even colder and use the IT-24. I gap them at .035-.040.
If you want to stick with NGK, look at either the 7 or the 8 heat range.

tr7ix is what I would run with that setup. Densos are good too.
