I have a 2006 Z06 with 10,000 miles. After sitting a day or so in the Garage, I get in and here a humming noise from Radio/CD or Navigation. If I start and shut down the noise is gone. Also after driving and shut down I hear no humming. It appears to be after sitting for a while, overnight or longer. Any one heard or heard of this?

I remember hearing something similar when I had my stock radio/nav (have since swapped it out). I think when you first get in the car by opening the door it kind of wakes up a few things and I think the dvd navigation is spinning up or something like that. I believe it is normal from what I remember.

I have a 06 z06 thats does the samething. I'm assuming its coming from the nav/radio.

Pretty sure it's the nav system disc booting up after sitting for a few days. Mine does this as well.

Happens to me all the time. The longer it sits....the longer it takes to stop.

Normal -- you'll also hear a noise if the car is off, power on and if you put your foot on the brake. It's happened to ever Z06 I've been in. Just chalk it up to electronics waking up.
