I was surprised to see this New Yorker use a CA shop to do his work. Is there another Cunningham Motorsports in the NY area? The Forum Vendor Cunningham Motorsports is in CA.

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but not a chance...Mustang numbers are all over the place, due to the variable input parameters. You cannot just apply some random 12% correction factor to the numbers, and get Dynojet numbers. I always take Mustang numbers with a grain of salt, because it is so easy for them to be manipulated by the operator.
You want Dynojet numbers, go to a Dynojet...and even then, there can still be some variables.

Not trying to be a heartbreaker but I had my z06 dyno'd on CMS's Mustang dyno and then on a DynoJet and the numbers were within a 10HP of each other. Real world results.

Le Mans Master
Mustang dynos do read lower, but it's sort of a set hp amount lower. Maybe it's 30hp lower, but it's the same 30hp on a 200 hp car or a 2000hp car.

Yes, a Mustang dyno should read lower, if all of the parameters are set correctly...but if they are not, it can read the same, or even higher than a Dynojet.

I am astounded of the vast amount of misinformation in this thread.
Seriously guys? Mustang dynos read LITERALLY all over the place. There are some Mustang dynos that read high and some that read LOW.
The original "heartbreaker" dyno is a DynoDynamics.
Mustang dynos can be manipulated so easily. A lot of dynojets are much more difficult to calibrate and correct.
People spouting out percentages and numbers couldn't be more wrong.

This forum crack me up with all the bad info and what not that gets posted LMFAO.
Op, good luck with the build, but shooting for 700+ rwhp, I seriously doubt you'll get close with any kind of modified plastic manifold.
Which WCCH heads are you looking to get? Good luck with the build!

Melting Slicks
I also "face palmed" when I read the dyno comments So I won't touch that. What I will touch is why people are concerned with getting traction with 700whp. A pair of Nitto drag radials on the stock back wheels will plant 700whp easy. I did that for two years with nitrous.
Running something like a 15in rear wheel and a big slick will likely slow the car down in those roll race and 1/2 mile runs. That is just too much tire for that low of a power level.
Keep us updated on the build OP!
