Traded a 2016 car for this 2007 Z06 last December. I'm missing the Bluetooth, and am thinking about upgrading the stock radio for something with Bluetooth, Nav, CD player and AM/FM/SiriusXM. Don't want to spend an arm and a leg for it either. Thanks for suggestions.

I'm in a similar situation with my '06 without Bose. Looking for bluetooth/CD, don't need nav but I wouldn't be opposed to it. I'd appreciate it if you could send me some info as well.

if you want NAV built in the new Kenwood DNX693S will be the option I would suggest at 899.99 for the package that includes everything you will need plus a camera

These are not shipping till end of March to us from Kenwood as they are brand new units coming out.

If you want to use Android Auto or Apple Carplay for NAv mapping then I have a year end deal on the 9902 that will allow for this.

Do the double D mod. It works just fine and sound quality is great.

I went with aftermarket unit before and was going to need an amp to have the Bose speakers sound as good as with the stock unit. So I sold the new unit, installed the stock one with the iSimple and couldn't be happier. Steering wheel controls work again, sound quality is back, and stock look is a big plus.

Head is the Pioneer AVIC-8100 NEX - 840$
Wiring Harness PAC RP5-GM11 - 92$


This will be my first upgrade to my Z06 and after spending a few days researching i belive this is the very best bang for the buck! As far as i can tell the only thing that wont be retained is the automatic volume fade. This combo should be compatabile with the Bose, Onstar, and the steering wheel controlls.


I will recive these items toward the end of next week, and installed after the weekend, ill repost if somthings not compatiable.

Do any of these aftermarket HUs integrate with the HUD for navigation? I also don't like cords. Do any of them have better bluetooth capabilities for Apple CarPlay?

NO for HUD
NO radio will integrate with the HUD

Carplay MUST be connected vie Lightening Cable at this time. Possible in future for wireless but not currently available
