just got the ss version and love them. 649 rwhp and its hooking. Finally am feeling the power being planted to the wheels. I just changed my set up from 455 rwhp to 649 so I am still getting used to it but the tires are hooking

How this tire compare vs the Hoosier DR 17345 (335/30/18).

Is the Hoosier a more business (hardcore) oriented DR than the MT?

In my case, I'm looking for a 18" DR that will death hook or very, very spin from a 1st gear roll, and zero spin on a 2nd gear roll.

590+RW on motor and on a 100 shot of nitrous.

EDIT:

I just saw that the MT is 27.50" tall and about $307.00 (per Summit Racing) vs. the Hoosier at 26.0" and $243.96 each.

I like the gearing advantage of the 26.0" tire.......

The hoosier is lighter and shorter and from everything I've seen is the best hooking radial out there. Only problem is it's not street friendly.

Since I am using my stock rims I am using the 305 35 19s. They are actually wider than a305 and fit with no issues. I don't care if it's a 19inch rim. It's ok for me. Buddies keep saying to run a 17 inch rim and I say I don't care to

With 649 rwhp I am have very little issues spinning. It will a bit but it's pretty good in my mind. On street tires I almost crashed three times in two weeks. Really like the new Mickey
